Today was the last day of the Australia training program. I felt very sad that the homestay had come to an end, and it was especially heartbreaking to say goodbye to my host family at the bus stop. At the airport, there were no major issues, and everyone boarded the plane in good spirits, marking the start of the final leg of the journey. Despite the excitement, everyone remained calm and composed. Upon arriving at Narita Airport, I reunited with my parents after two weeks apart. We had so much to catch up on that the conversation never seemed to end. However, I felt a profound sense of sadness and loss that the training program had ended. Perhaps this was because the Australia training program had been so enjoyable and created such wonderful memories. Overall, the training program allowed me to learn many unique aspects of Australia's atmosphere, culture, and daily life, making it a truly memorable experience. There were some issues, such as people not being able to meet their bud...

Today, it was my last day at school. In the morning, we played games and wrote letters to our host family and buddy. We had a pizza party at lunchtime. There was a lot of pizza and many drinks. I liked the pepperoni pizza. Also, we were given an NCC uniform. Some people wore the NCC uniform and took pictures. In the afternoon, I went to my buddy's class. It was math and P.E. Both were free time, so I played soccer in P.E. class. After school, we went to the shopping mall. We found the Nintendo Switch 2 at the mall. We were surprised by that. We bought some snacks to bring back to Japan. When we came back home, we went into the pool. It was so cold that no one wanted to go in, so we pushed each other into the pool. It was so fun. For dinner, we ate Australian meat pie. It was really delicious. Also, we got a present from our host mother. I was really happy about that. It was my last day to play with my host family, so I felt really sad. So, I connected with my host family on WhatsAp...

Today is Thursday, 8/21.  The weather was rainy and sometimes sunny. We went to the zoo together.  There were kangaroos, koalas, and dingoes there. I fed the kangaroos — they were so cute! We also saw koalas, but they slept all day.  My favorite animals were the dingoes. They were so cute, and they looked like Shiba Inu dogs. We each bought a souvenir and enjoyed rice with my host family. It was delicious.  It is 9:30 now, and I am sleepy. Well, good night.  K.M. Today, I visited Australia Zoo and had an unforgettable experience.  I was able to touch the soft, fluffy fur of a koala, which was incredibly adorable.  However, a kangaroo suddenly hopped close to me, which was a little frightening but exciting at the same time.  I also watched a crocodile show, which was very thrilling and something I cannot see in Japan.  Additionally, there was a trampoline inside the zoo that was so fun I went on it twice.  Overall, it was a day full of ex...

Today, I went to school. It was raining heavily this morning. Before morning tea, we had English class with Ms. Michelle. I learned about Australian animals such as koalas, kangaroos, and quokkas. During the class, we played some games. One of them was a game where you stick a piece of paper with the name of an Australian animal on your forehead and guess which animal it is. The person who has the paper on their forehead can ask three questions. I tried it, but it was difficult. I also learned about Australia Zoo, which we are going to visit tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to going there and seeing a lot of animals. After morning tea, we had farm class. I cleaned the stable and checked the horses’ weight. There were over ten horses in the stable. Our farm teacher asked everyone to step on the horse scale, and we tried to make it reach 1,000 kg. We didn’t reach 1,000 kg, but it was fun. It was my first time taking care of horses, so it was a good experience. R.T. It was my host bro...
